In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Nigeria showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from 13.1K at the end of September and peaking at approximately 16.3K in the last week of December. The trend in active users for Bolt fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at around 64K and ending at about 53K.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a significant surge in downloads mid-quarter, reaching a peak of 17.2K in mid-November before slightly declining to 13.3K by the end of December. The active user base for inDrive increased from just under 49K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 65K by the end.

Uber - Request a ride showed a consistent rise in weekly downloads, growing from 4.9K in late September to around 7.8K in the last week of December. However, the active users for Uber saw a gradual decline from around 198K at the start of the quarter to approximately 157K by the end.

LagosRide had a modest but steady increase in downloads, starting at 1.2K in late September and reaching around 1.7K by the end of December.

Enviable had a significant spike in downloads in early October, reaching nearly 2K, but then saw a decline, stabilizing around 240 downloads per week towards the end of the quarter.
